Εxactly two months before the Athens Classic Marathon 2011, the interest shown by runners all around the world has reached its peak. This year’s Athens Classic Marathon event will be equivalent to last year’s success, not only regarding number of participation but also regarding the quality reached. According to the registrations progress so far, SEGAS and the Athens Classic Marathon Organizing Committee cannot but express their satisfaction from the fact that Greek and foreign runners are continuously registering from the Race. We should especially underline the great increase of Greek Runners not only on the 5km and 10km Road Races but in the Marathon Race as well. This large number of entries depicts the recognition and status that the Athens Classic Marathon has gained in the society.

On the other hand, we should also mention the large number of foreign runners who will travel from their countries to Greece this year in order to participate in the Marathon Race, despite what is being heard around, supporting on their own way the efforts of the Greek society within a so difficult and negative surrounding.

Registrations in all road races are still possible. The Registration Period will definitely expire on October 10, 2011.
If you are still considering to participate in this year’s event, please make sure that you submit your registration in time through our website,
